Aug. 19--The biggest threat to your trade secrets could be your colleagues or employees, according to Siripong Supakijjanusorn, a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal.
The Trade Secrets Act in effect since July 22 was devised to provide a more specific means of protecting trade secrets, besides adhering to patents, copyrights and trademarks laws which generally expire after a certain period.
The new law protects commercial formulas and business patterns, including contract forms, customer lists and marketing strategies.
